The Fauxn
These people really wanted to prove a point with The Fauxn. A faux phone that is just a piece of wood that is shaped to look like a phone. They had a flexible goal on Indiegogo which means that they will receive the funds even if the campaign failed. Which it did. Miserably.
Unfortunately this meant that my money was gone and there never was an update or an offer for a refund. I guess those people just used the €481 they raised to get some beer and forget about the whole thing.
Always be wary of campaigns with:
- No (successful) previous campaigns
- Low number of backers
- A team that has no track record of shipping a product
Lesson learned... I guess 😅
